YouTube has launched it’s own music service! YouTube Music is available as of yesterday in the Google Play and Apple iTunes App store. It’s a stand-alone app spotlighting the massive YouTube music library. YouTube Music is free, or $9.99 as part of YouTube Red (YouTube with no ads).
Hozier has lent his voice to a new charity album to raise money for the Irish Cancer Society. The singer takes on the Led Zeppelin classic “Whole Lotta Love” for the compilation disc, which is called Whole Lotta Live (released Nov 27).
Michael Buble has a lot going on – his wife is expecting their 2nd child, he just recorded his latest NBC Christmas special, and — oh yeah — he’s got a new album in the works. He says his new album will be “different” – “not like I’ve gone off to some crazy land, I’m still going to give people the great standards…” but “The pop songs, the originals, I spent a lot more time writing with different people…I’m in L.A. to work with a guy named Max Martin.” Max Martin is a write who’s been working with Taylor Swift and Katy Perry lately.
Justin Bieber will headline “The Thanksgiving Day Parade” on CBS, performing live from New York City on Thursday, Nov. 26.
Ariana Grande is the latest artist to be announced as a performer for the upcoming American Music Awards (Nov 22). She is also one of the five up for Artist of The Year: Ariana, One Direction, Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift and country star Luke Bryan.
