DETAILS: This year the the Healthy Children Golf Invitational is continuing the goal of healthy children by supporting youth Sports in PG.

 EVENT: The River presents the UNBC Timberwolves 12th Annual Summer Basketball Camps at the Northern Sports Centre.
DETAILS: Your kids will get instruction from the finest coaches in Canadian College basketball and have lots of fun doing it. Todd Jordan of the defending Men's National Championship team and long time Women's coach Loralyn Murdoch. Camps are open to players from Grade 2-10 and a one week elite camp for Grades 9 till 12. Camps run July 12th- 15th, July 19th-22nd (Elite camp) and August 16th - 19th. To find out more and to register drop by the desk of the Northern Sports Centre or call 250 960 6366.

WHEN: August 6-8th
WHERE: PG Motor Sports Park at 9285 Raceway Road
MORE: There are 4 classes: Box and No Box, Bike/Sled and Junior Dragsters. $10,000 in guaranteed prize money. NHRA rules apply. Spectator tickets are $10 per day. Entry fee is $100 and includes the car driver and one pit person. There is a test and tune Friday night, time only Saturday morning, King of the Hill Saturday Afternoon and eliminations are on Sunday.

The Funchaser will be there handing out cool stuff and we'll be live on location Friday & Saturday. EARLY BIRD TICKETS: Purchase your admission passes between before August 8th to save! Go to the PGX office and purchase 5 admissions for the price of 4 or purchase Advance Day at the fair for just $30 each. This includes one day pass, unlimited rides in the midway for any one day of the fair.
PRICES: Parking is $3 per car and proceeds go to three non profit groups.
Gate Admission is $10 for adults, $8.50 for seniors, $7.50 for Youth (4-12yr) and kids 3 and under are free!
