Congratualtions to Wendy Ramsay (Reader Sales & Service Representative, Prince George Citizen)! On Friday she got a surpise visit from Divine Brown at work.
Here's her entry.. Hi!! I am DELIGHTED DIVINE BROWN IS COMING BACK TO PRINCE GEORGE. A coworker and myself went to see the Backstreet Boys and were blown away with Divine’s performance. SHE IS WONDERFUL!!! I have always been a fan of Whitney Houston and listening to Divine brought me back for sure even though they have a different style…but they can both wail out a tune. A few of us were going to get tickets to see her as we just love her music but I have been away in Kamloops. I just got back and I don’t know if there are any left. She is so good and I was listening to the radio this morning and Mike was saying to email and tell you why we like her so much. When her music comes on we shake it and move it…you can’t help it she just makes you want to move and sing. The girls in my department are quite a bit younger than myself and that is the greatest thing…Divines music appeals to all ages. Finally an artist I can relate to with these girls…I actually don’t think they appreciate good music…well they do with Divine!!! Oh man we could meet her in person….through the front door….WOW!!! That would surpass the pink gorilla I received for my birthday one year…and that was awesome!! Even if we don’t win….WE LOVE HER!!!
