Turns out your desk job is a death sentence!!!

Studies have found that the more you sit, the more likely you are to get heart disease...EVEN IF YOU EAT RIGHT AND EXERCISE!! Wow....Sitting is an independant risk factor. Our bodies were never designed to sit around for 8 hours a day. It doesn't matter what you weigh, how much you exercise out of the office, if you're sitting down for most of the day you're 54% MORE LIKELY to have a heart attack than people who don't sit for work. Basically head to toe, inside and out sitiing is a silent killer.

What to do....

It's pretty simple actually...you just have to move more...and NOT at the gym. There is a difference between exercising and being active. Exercising is somehting you might do for half an hour a day, where being active is standing more, moving more or walking more. Just commit to moving around as much as you can if you spend a lot of time sitting...it will save your health and in turn your life!
