RCMP Says Suspicious Death in Fort St. James Recent
The RCMP has released new details today about an investigation on the Nak'azdli Reserve in Fort St. James, looking into what they are now calling a 'suspicious death'. Corporal Annie Linteau says they don't have details regarding the victim, but confirm the death was recent. She says additional time and forensic analysis is required to confirm the sex, age and identity of the deceased. Information of the findings was first released yesterday. Police will not confirm if the investigation is tied to the recent disappearance of a Fort St. James man. Fribjon Bjornson was last seen a few weeks ago. He was living with another person on the Nak'azdli reserve at the time he went missing. RCMP are appealing to the public for any further information about the suspicious death, and ask them to contact the Fort St. James RCMP at 250-996-8269 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.

Entrepreneurs To Share Advice At Youth Event
An event for budding entrepreneurs will take place at UNBC today. The Youth Mean Business program will bring young entrepreneurs and local business owners together today to talk about the risks and rewards of starting a business. Business coach Shauna Harper is one presenter at the event. She says one key step is doing what you love. Jobs, Innovation and Tourism Minister Pat Bell will also be speaking about the values of entrepreneurship.

January Jobless Stats
There was another rise in the jobless rate for the Prince George region, up to to 8.1 last month from 6.1 in January of 2011 . Stats Can Labour Analyst Jeanine Usalcus says while employment was basically at the same level as it was a year ago,more people are looking for work . The Cariboo region also saw its numbers increase ,not as drastically though, with the rate at 7.5 percent last month ,up from 7.2 percent the same month last year.

Fatal Crash Near Fraser Lake
A 32 year old Fraser Lake man is dead following a two vehicle crash on Highway 16 ,just west of Fraser Lake on the Stellaquo Overpass just before 8:30 last night. RCMP say the man's westbound car crossed the center line colliding head- on with an eastbound pickup. The driver and lone occupant of the pickup was not injured in the crash. Alcohol is considered to be a factor in the crash still under investigation . That stretch of highway was closed for several hours and has since re-opened . Police are asking any witnesses to come forward. The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
