Alessia Cara is donating her song, “Scars to Your Beautiful” so it can be used in a new anti-bullying campaign from the Ad Council.
Starting Thursday, a challenge on the musical.ly app will invite users to create a 15-second video set to “Scars to Your Beautiful” showing what to do when you witness someone being bullied. The promotion will run for a week.
In addition, “Scars to Your Beautiful” is part of the soundtrack of a new video and online public service announcement showing how teens can use the specially designed “Witness” emoji to speak out, support others and reject bullying.
